达卡有什么景点?
Dhaka is not famous for sightseeing because it does have only a few interesting places that are worth visiting. The main problem with Dhaka is the bad condition of infrastructure and roads, lack of public transportation facilities & pollution in air. So you can't just roam around on foot as one would do in other cities but there are still some things to visit. Here is my list of those:
1. Baitul Mukarram National Mosque (Baitul Mukarram Jamek) - This beautiful mosque was built during late 80s near the airport, so its location is good enough although it might be noisy from time to time due to nearby civil aviation activities. It holds Friday congregational prayers regularly attended by more than half a million people who come here from far and wide to participate in this special prayer session. If you go on a Friday afternoon or evening , you will see how huge crowds these prayer sessions attract. Even women are allowed inside as long as they wear appropriate traditional dress, namely 'burka'. You may want to check out what happens before noon when Muslims break their fast after Ramadan.
2. Bangabandhu International Conference Center(BICC)- Located about ten minutes drive away from the city center, BICC serves both political 和 cultural purposes like hosting important national & international conferences, holding concerts , plays etc. Its architecture has received many awards and praise worldwide for being so distinctive yet modern at the same time. There is also an adjacent park called BIBSGONJ where you could take your kids to play while enjoying a nice view of the entire complex surrounded by lush greenery.
3. Old Dhaka - Although I don't love walking through all those narrow alleys full of garbage, old houses which most locals use either as shops selling everything under sun OR stores run by foreigners offering western products made right here rather than buying them abroad anyway since prices aren't very different from local markets plus much better variety selection if such thing matters greatly to someone living outside Bangladesh , exploring little alleyways off main road leading down into smaller streets where life goes on without any fuss makes up another fun experience. In fact there are even some interesting museums among
